Production & Assembly Technician – Medical Equipment

Would you like to build high-quality medical equipment step by step? At Lode, you will help manufacture products that are used worldwide in hospitals, rehabilitation centres and sports laboratories. To strengthen our production team, we are looking for a new Production & Assembly Technician.  

What will you do?

As a Production & Assembly Technician, you will contribute to the assembly of our medical equipment. You will assemble mechanical and electrical components into complete end products, following technical drawings, work instructions and quality procedures.  

You will work with a wide variety of components, including frames, drive systems, motors, electronics and displays. Since our products are available in many different configurations and customer-specific variants, no two days are the same. This makes your work varied and requires accuracy, technical insight and attention to detail.  

Your responsibilities include:

• Assembling medical ergometers and treadmills  

• Installing mechanical, electrical and electronic components  

• Reading and following technical drawings, bills of materials and work instructions  

• Performing in-process inspections and product testing before products move to the next production stage  

• Identifying and reporting deviations, missing parts or quality issues  

• Working with hand tools, power tools and measuring equipment  

• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised workplace  

• Contributing ideas to improve production processes

What are we looking for?

• A technical background or a strong affinity with technology  

• Preferably an MBO-level education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field  

• Experience in assembly, manufacturing or production is an advantage, but not required  

• The ability to read technical drawings and work instructions, or the motivation to learn quickly  

• Accuracy, structure and attention to quality  

• A reliable team player who takes responsibility and can also work independently  

• Confidence in working with tools and assembling both mechanical and electrical components  

• A curious mindset, willingness to learn and the confidence to ask questions or report issues when necessary
