At Lode, we are contributing to the Perimo project, which aims to improve support for vulnerable patients before and after major surgery. As part of the project, we are working on the implementation of an innovative perioperative care pathway designed to support patients throughout this period.
Perimo builds on previous insights and experience in prehabilitation and takes the next step towards personalised, data-driven support, including opportunities for remote support via the Fit4Cure platform. This enables healthcare professionals and patients to work together more effectively towards recovery, with a focus on individual capacity and realistic goals.
This project is a collaboration between UMCG, Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen, Nij Smellinghe, Umaco (lead partner), Lode, ProCare and aXtion. The project is co-funded by the European Union through the Just Transition Fund (JTF) and also receives national co-financing from the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
With the funding decision now officially approved, we can further accelerate the development and implementation of the project and create tangible impact in the Northern Netherlands.
