Angio CPET with static wall fixation

Streamlined wall fixation for enhanced ergometry precision

In this configuration, the Angio system is securely affixed to the wall, accompanied by standard handgrips for optimal grip. Its sleek and compact design renders it suitable for an array of stress tests, particularly in scenarios where conventional ergometry setups prove impractical. Remarkably, the Angio functions independently of pedalling speed, spanning a wattage range of 7 to 1000 watts.

Enhancing its capabilities, the Angio CPET comes equipped with an integrated communication module, facilitating seamless control compatibility with prevalent stress ECG and pulmonary devices worldwide. Vital performance metrics including workload, revolutions per minute (rpm), and time are effortlessly accessible through the connected CPET system.

Connectivity options

Delve into your analyses with ease as the 3.5″ color display provides real-time access to crucial metrics such as workload, revolutions per minute (rpm), and time. This data readout ensures a streamlined and comprehensive evaluation process through the CPET software.

Enhancing display options with 7-inch control unit or programmable control unit

For those in search of extra functionalities, we provide a range of display alternatives. Select the 7-inch control unit, to control the Angio and make it possible to use it as a standalone device. A larger screen for comprehensive data visualization. Taking personalization to the next level, the Programmable Control Unit (PCU) offers an advanced level of flexibility. Unlike the standard the 3,5 display, the CU and PCU empowers medical practitioners to finely adjust display settings and parameters according to precise preferences. This choice provides a high degree of control, allowing users to define and organize specific metrics, making it perfect for those who require utmost adaptability in data presentation. With the PCU, you can set targets, utilize various pre-programmed protocols, and even incorporate up to 50 custom protocols. You have the flexibility to create personalized protocols, incorporating different ramp, interval, and heart rate-based protocols, tailored to your specific needs.

Why the Angio cpet with static wall fixation?

Reliable and reproducible stress tests

The experience of professionals who calibrate many ergometers shows that the Lode ergometers are the most reliable across the complete workload and rpm range and still within specifications even after many years of intensive use.

Additional features with PCU

Besides the possibility to program 24 protocols easily, this control unit offers the following features:

  • Better monitoring because of the additional and larger display.
  • A perfect combination with BPM.
  • Possibility to measure SpO2.

Easy to operate

For Lode products this means:

  • Easy to connect
  • Easy to move around
  • Easy user interface

High standards

Lode is a socially and environmentally responsible company. All Lode products are RoHS/WEE compliant and Lode is ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016 certified. All medical products comply to MDD 93/42/EEC, incl. IEC 60601-1.

Product features

Extreme low start-up load

The extreme low start-up load of 7 watts and the adjustability in small steps of 1 watt make this ergometer perfectly suitable for many different applications. The standard control unit shows multiple ergometry parameters and you can determine your specific default setting and start-up menu.

Accurate over a long period of time

The Lode ergometers are supplied with an electro-magnetic braking mechanism of Lanooy (eddy current). The biggest advantage of this braking system compared to a friction braking system is the absolute accuracy and the accuracy over time. Moreover, friction braking systems have more wearing parts.

Small adjustment steps

The workload of the Lode ergometers is adjustable in steps of only 1 watt. Depending on your wishes, the test operator or the test subject can adjust the workload. The steps of 1 watt are possible in the manual mode as well as within protocols.

LCRM compatible

This product can be used with Lode Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager software (LCRM)

LEM compatible

This product can be used with Lode Ergometry Manager (LEM) software to manage data and to apply specific protocols when a Communication card is present

Customer specific display setting

Display settings are adjustable according to your specific requirements: each individual has its specific wishes about the parameters to be displayed. This can easily be adjusted with the Lode ergometers.

Versatile Interfacing

Various interface protocols guarantee perfect communication with all commonly known stress ECG and spirometry equipment

RS232 connectivity

RS232 ports enable connectivity to most ECG and ergospirometry devices as well as PC’s.

Advantages of wall fixation

Stability and Accuracy: Wall fixation eliminates unwanted vibrations and movement that can affect data accuracy during exercise tests. This stability ensures consistent and reliable measurements, crucial for accurate patient evaluation.

Optimal Space Utilization: Fixed wall fixation optimizes floor space, an advantage in clinics with limited room. The setup eliminates the need for bulky equipment, making the examination area more organized and accessible.

Other options for wall fixation

In addition to the static wall fixation, we also provide an electrically adjustable wall fixation solution and the Angio with an automatic stand. Explore these products to see how their height adjustability can offer the optimal solution for your patients.

Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to request RPM and Load data through the RS232 port while cycling in Manual mode.

Yes you can request the actual pedalling speed and power when you are cycling in Manual, Analogue or Terminal mode.
The load will only be returned when the pedalling speed is 30 RPM or more. For technical details see the Lode RS232 protocol

How do I know how to interface my ECG or ergospirometry device to a Lode product?

In the SERVICE tab of every product, you find all available interfacing options.

You can download a short instruction on how to choose the right settings on your ergometer or treadmill and the ECG or ergospirometry device.

Can I use a RS232 to USB converter to connect an ergometer?

Yes you can. Make sure the chipset used in the converter is from FTDI to have good data acquisition.
Not sure what this means? Contact us and we will help you to get the right converter.

Is Lode recommending special disinfection procedures for the Lode products due to COVID-19?

Yes, Due to the fact that the scientific research on the spread of Covid-19 is not yet conclusive Lode recommends to disinfect and clean all Lode products and their accessories (cuffs, heart rate belts, SpO2 sensors, handgrips/rails, touchscreens etc) that are in contact with the patient and or the medical personnel with a standard disinfectant as used in the hospital before and after every patient, with attention and care!

Since these agents are sometimes aggressive it might be advisable to check the effect on sensitive surfaces, like cushioning on non-visible areas. Lode will not take responsibility for discoloration due to these agents.
