Why the Angio cpet with automatic stand?

Reliable and reproducible stress tests

The experience of professionals who calibrate many ergometers shows that the Lode ergometers are the most reliable across the complete workload and rpm range and still within specifications even after many years of intensive use.

Multifunctional

The ergometer can be used for both arm and leg ergometry.

Additional features with PCU

Besides the possibility to program 24 protocols easily, this control unit offers the following features:

  • Better monitoring because of the additional and larger display.
  • A perfect combination with BPM.
  • Possibility to measure SpO2.

Easy to operate

For Lode products this means:

  • Easy to connect
  • Easy to move around
  • Easy user interface

High standards

Lode is a socially and environmentally responsible company. All Lode products are RoHS/WEE compliant and Lode is ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 13485:2016 certified. All medical products comply to MDD 93/42/EEC, incl. IEC 60601-1.

Product features

Extreme low start-up load

The extreme low start-up load of 7 watts and the adjustability in small steps of 1 watt make this ergometer perfectly suitable for many different applications. The standard control unit shows multiple ergometry parameters and you can determine your specific default setting and start-up menu.

Small adjustment steps

The workload of the Lode ergometers is adjustable in steps of only 1 watt. Depending on your wishes, the test operator or the test subject can adjust the workload. The steps of 1 watt are possible in the manual mode as well as within protocols.

Accurate over a long period of time

The Lode ergometers are supplied with an electro-magnetic braking mechanism of Lanooy (eddy current). The biggest advantage of this braking system compared to a friction braking system is the absolute accuracy and the accuracy over time. Moreover, friction braking systems have more wearing parts.

Customer specific display setting

Display settings are adjustable according to your specific requirements: each individual has its specific wishes about the parameters to be displayed. This can easily be adjusted with the Lode ergometers.

LEM compatible

This product can be used with Lode Ergometry Manager (LEM) software to manage data and to apply specific protocols when a Communication card is present.

LCRM compatible

This product can be used with Lode Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager software (LCRM).

Versatile Interfacing

Various interface protocols guarantee perfect communication with all commonly known stress ECG and spirometry equipment.

Unlocking advanced capabilities

Elevate your product’s potential by seamlessly incorporating Smart Heart Rate and SpO2 monitoring capabilities.

Furthermore, the product’s build in adaptability is highlighted by its effortless synchronization with a wide spectrum of known stress ECG and pulmonary devices. This compatibility ensures a seamless flow of data and insights across various medical tools, fostering an interconnected approach to diagnostics and analysis.

Advantages of the automatic stand

The automatic stand offers a range of advantages that elevate the arm-ergometry experience. By securely anchoring the ergometer to the wall using the provided components, users can ensure unparalleled stability during intense and demanding exercise tests. This not only feels comfortable for the patient but also allows for consistent and accurate data collection. For those seeking flexibility in setup, the optional stabilisation leg serves as an excellent alternative, providing robust support without wall fixation. This adaptability ensures that the ergometer can be seamlessly integrated into various spaces. Moreover, the Angio’s effortless height adjustment further enhances its versatility, enabling its application in both arm and leg ergometry. This feature accommodates a wide range of patients, making it suitable for a diverse patient population. Overall, the automatic stand enhances the versatility of the arm-ergometry sessions, making it an indispensable feature for optimal performance and precision for both the patient and medical professional.

Frequently asked questions

Is it possible to request RPM and Load data through the RS232 port while cycling in Manual mode.

Yes you can request the actual pedalling speed and power when you are cycling in Manual, Analogue or Terminal mode.
The load will only be returned when the pedalling speed is 30 RPM or more. For technical details see the Lode RS232 protocol

How do I know how to interface my ECG or ergospirometry device to a Lode product?

In the SERVICE tab of every product, you find all available interfacing options.

You can download a short instruction on how to choose the right settings on your ergometer or treadmill and the ECG or ergospirometry device.

Can I use a RS232 to USB converter to connect an ergometer?

Yes you can. Make sure the chipset used in the converter is from FTDI to have good data acquisition.
Not sure what this means? Contact us and we will help you to get the right converter.

Is Lode recommending special disinfection procedures for the Lode products due to COVID-19?

Yes, Due to the fact that the scientific research on the spread of Covid-19 is not yet conclusive Lode recommends to disinfect and clean all Lode products and their accessories (cuffs, heart rate belts, SpO2 sensors, handgrips/rails, touchscreens etc) that are in contact with the patient and or the medical personnel with a standard disinfectant as used in the hospital before and after every patient, with attention and care!

Since these agents are sometimes aggressive it might be advisable to check the effect on sensitive surfaces, like cushioning on non-visible areas. Lode will not take responsibility for discoloration due to these agents.
