Dimatio: Accelerating Medical Innovations through Smart Technology

Lode is one of the collaborating partners in the Dimatio project (Diversity by Smart Composition). This three-year initiative focuses on developing an innovative generic building block that brings together the technological commonalities of three different medical innovations.

The aim of the project is to make these medical innovations available to the market more quickly and efficiently—without compromising on essential requirements such as quality, patient safety, and security standards. The generic building block will be developed in both an alpha and a beta prototype.

The project is a collaboration between Lode, ProCare, aXtion, Umaco, UMCG, Life Cooperative, and HTRIC. The broad expertise of these partners enables the integration of technological innovation with societal impact, with applications in the medical sector.

A first tangible milestone of the project was the awarding of the sustainability plaque, which was recently presented by Frank de Nekker from the SNN to Umaco.

The project is co-financed by the European Union and supported by the SNN.
